NTT is a major Japanese telecom firm. It acts as the holding company for it's
business subsidiaries: NTT East and NTT West (Equivalent to LEC's in North American parlance),
NTT Communications (equivalent to an IXC), NTT Data, and NTT DoCoMo, whose primary business is
mobile phone, including cellular services, packet communication service, mobile satellite
communications service, in-flight telephone service and equipment sales in each service.
The most progressive and interesting company right now is NTT DoCoMo.
