Formed in 1993 and led by Stefan Alt, the German industrial label Ant-Zen (ANTiZENsur Recordings) is one of the central labels in the powernoise movement. They describe their own output as "industrial music, chilling ambient, technoid rhythms & power electronics" and "audio and visual arts". Their visual arts can be seen in the unusual packaging in some of their releases, such as a CD release containing pieces of sheet metal instead of a normal booklet with the CD itself weighing several hundred grams. Artists such as :Wumpscut: and Aube have had releases there and their artist roster contains such names as Imminent, Converter, Hypnoskull, Noisex and Synapscape.
