Cex

Techno artist probably best known for his remix of the song Academy Award by The Dismemberment Plan. Cex (pronounced "sex"], aka Rjyan (pronounced "Ryan") Kidwell, was born September 19th, 1981. He is the co-founder of the Tigerbeat 6 record label with kid 606.

The sound is sort of like Aphex Twin mixed with some old-school hip-hop. Lots of beeps and glitches and phat beats.

Cex keeps a diary on his personal homepage, rjyan.com. He also writes a music column for Baltimore's City Paper.
