Chuck Rock was a caveman who starred in a couple of video games by Core Design, released in the early Nineties on various 16-bit platforms. The original Chuck Rock game involved Chuck's journey to fight his nemesis, Gary Gritter. Chuck was naked except for a grass skirt, and would attack his enemies by butting them with his belly. There was a mildly controversial section in the original version where Chuck has to dodge the falling droppings issuing forth from a brontosaurus. Commercial success ensured that there was a sequel (Chuck Rock 2: Son of Chuck) and a karting game (for machines capable of sprite scaling and rotation) starring Chuck and his pals called B.C. Racers. The same art style is used in Wonder Dog, Core's game that was intended as mascot for the JVC Wonder Mega.
