Eta Kappa Nu, abbreviated HKN, is the Electrical Engineering and
Computer Science international honor society. Outstanding junior and senior
undergraduates, and graduates, are eligible to join HKN.
HKN was established at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1904.
Today there are more than 200 chapters throughout the world. Among the most
active chapters are those at University of California, Berkeley, University of Michigan, University
of Minnesota, Purdue University.
