Forloren Hare (Fake Hare) is a traditional Danish dish.

The "hare":

knead the meat with eggs, rasp, seasonings and water. Form it into a log, shred the bacon and place it in the surface. Brown the "hare" in the oven.

The sauce:

Melt the margarine in a pot, then add the flour while stirring to create a dough. dilute it with the milk, then add the seasonings and coloring.

Put the "hare" in a bowl with the sauce, and let it roast for about half an hour.

Serve the "hare" with potatoes (caramelled or white) and red cabbage.
