The word "Nosebomb" is used by heavy-branding sunglass manufacturer Oakley to describe the part of the glasses that connect with your nose. On several models of Oakley sunglasses, this part is removable, and can be exchanged for one of different size and/or shape, depending on the size and/or shape of your nose. Nosebombs are normally made from rubber or plastic, and sports glasses occasionally feature more exotic materials which cling to the skin when wet(for more secure attachment when sweaty). The corresponding part which connects the stems to the ears is called an earsock in Oakley parlance.
