Ricky Fitz is the strong silent, dark hansom, teenage drug-dealer-cum-prophet from American Beauty

One of the main characters of the movie, Ricky is perhaps one of the most straightforward in that he imposes the least amount of pretense between him and the rest of the world -- or at least between himself and the viewing audience. The only person he seems to put up any pretense for is his own father -- perhaps the most walled off character in the movie.

Ultimately, Ricky and Jane Burnham fall mutually in love having, true to form, the most direct and open of the relationships portrayed in the film.
