The actual name of the world famous theme song from "The Benny Hill Show", Yackity Sax launched the career of Paducah, Kentucky native Homer Louis Randolph, better known as Boots Randolph.

First used in the 1969 Thames Television production of The Benny Hill Show, the song had already been a hit for Boots in his native America. Boots parlayed this fame into a highly successful career in Nashville, where he was commonly called Mr. Sax.

The song itself became an integral part of the high speed slapstick chases featured at the end of every episode of the Benny Hill show. If you have ever seen the show, you have heard this song. The playful tune features a catchy saxophone melody and an easily looped chorus.

It never fails to pop a smile on my face. :)
