A common
spelling mistake.
You might think that noone follows the same
pattern as
nobody (anybody, somebody, nobody), and therefore (anyone, someone,
noone). But you'd be
wrong.
Acceptable spellings of noone are '
no one', or '
no-one'.
e e cummings uses 'noone' in
anyone lived in a pretty how town (go and read it - it's
explicated!), but then again
e e cummings did a lot of things that would be considered 'bad spelling' or 'bad grammar'. So if you do write 'noone', do it in the knowlege that it's not conventional grammar, and do it to make a point rather than out of
ignorance.
Thanks to ariels for pointing this out.
