Rolex is the best known of all the Swiss wristwatch manufacturers. Rolex popularised the whole idea of the wristwatch, as well as producing the first waterproof watch which greatly increased the standard of reliability for timepieces. They also pioneered getting official COSC certification for their wristwatches.

Rolexes are nice watches, I admit it, but Ruggedness?

I just don't believe that.

My Brother has a Rolex and it breaks all the time. So far the pins that hold the band together have broken twice, and the glass face has come off. And He has had it for less than six months.

I will admit that Rolexes aren't made for binge drinking twenty year olds, but it still seems a bit flimsy to me.
