UK.
Plone got together in
1994 in
Birmingham, and released their first
disc in
1997. The name plone is an
imaginary word that sounds like a
cartoon ricochet. The guys use a lot of
old analog gear, and they
claim Sun Ra, The
Beach Boys, and
Kraftwerk as
influence, among others.
