Steve Punt is a
British comedian. He works in both
stand-up and
sketches and is known to write both his own
material as well as to
write for others.
He was a founder member of The Mary Whitehouse Experience and before that worked with Hugh Dennis on Jasper Carrott's television show, both writing for Carrott and appearing in the show.
Public appearences have been restricted to TV Advertising recently, but hopefully he'll soon be back with more comedy.
For thos familiar with Steve and Hugh, Steve is the shorter, dark-haired one.
