Jeff Foxworthy is a comedian most recognized by one of his familiar catchphrases: "You might be a redneck if...", typically followed by something relatively humorous or stereotypical of southerners. An example would be: "You might be a redneck if you have more vehicles up on cement blocks than ones with tires."
Jeffrey Marshall Foxworthy was born on September 6, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia. He went on to comedy, recording several comedy albums including the 1993 hit album named with the title of his catchphrase. His comedy albums were nominated several times for Grammy awards.
Eventually Jeff received his own comedy series which ran from 1995 (on ABC) to 1996 (on NBC). He appeared in several more movies and television shows, eventually landing a gig on "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?" for several years.
He continues to do comedy tours and also dabbles in voiceover work. He also authors books ranging from the outdoors to cookbooks to comedies.
