CPGA (thing)

An acronym for "Ceramic Pin Grid-Array" This is the "classic" method of housing microprocessors. Lately replaced with the cheaper PPGA

• The Motorola RISC lineup with which I am familiar with. e.g. the MC6XXXX series
• AMD's x86 line up to the K6-2
• Cyrix Processors

note, I originally listed Intel's name for their risc line being I810 or something, it's I960. sorry
