fan name for
Danny Elfman's band
Oingo Boingo (formerlly the
Mysic Knights of the Oingo Boingo), in 1994, with the temporary departure of the band's three-piece
horn section, Elfman lost his Oingo. This made him sad, and this made his Boingo sad, and Boingo's next album was dark and
brooding and deep and
serious. No more bouncy
pop for this band...
Until the horn section came back! And the Oingo returned!
But then they broke up entirely... (sniff)
