A hilly
rural region of central
UK encompassing most of
Gloucestershire and
Oxfordshire plus little bits of
Worcestershire,
Warwickshire and
Wiltshire.
For a rural area it is quite densely populated. That means that unlike Shropshire there are useful things like late night garages, jobs and lock-in pubs.
In the 1700s and 1800s lots of thatched cottages were built out of local yellow stone. American Tourists think that's old. Pah!
