Make way for comedian/actor Donal F. Logue, a red-haired Canadian of Irish descent. He has graced the silver screen through movies such as Blade (1998), The Patriot (2000) and Just Like Heaven (2005). The lovely laddie seems to be proud of his heritage - his tattoos include the word "Perseverance", the Guinness harp and a Celtic cross. You may recognise him from MTV - he played a greasy Boston cabby for one of their promos (c.f. "I Want My MTV!" (1996)). Or perhaps, from one of the scores of productions listed below - guy must be the hardest working man in Hollywood.

When he isn't spending his time acting concerned that there aren't enough fansites about him* (check out Donal's Ultra Personal Homepage), he's taking the comedy scene by storm through shows such as the Fox/WB series Grounded for Life. Logue plays Sean Finnerty, a rogue-ish 'recovering Catholic' whose unlikely graduation gift was a cradle and a new set of diapers.

"It's about me and my wife and our three or four children. And my slacker brother. Who has black hair. And who may also have fathered some of my children, since they look like little Italians and I'm a redhead and my wife is blonde and that's just a little unlikely, now isn't it."

Quick Bio:

Legend has it, his father was a Catholic priest who renounced his holy vows to marry a missionary. Donal, whose name is Gaelic for "World Leader", was born in Ottawa, Canada, on February 27, 1966. Raised largely in the Southwestern United States, he went on to attend Harvard, where he studied history and began to nurture an interest in theatre. Although Logue had long aspired to be a writer, a stint at the British-American Drama Academy in London strengthened his dedication to acting, and after graduating from college, he began performing on the stage.

"Tennis, Anyone..?"(2005) is one of Donal's more recent writing projects.

He has three sisters: Karina, an actress, his twin sister Deirdre, who is not in show business, and Eileen, an education consultant.
