1-shot used in
TV news shows. The shot features pretty much all of the
head, and just a touch of the
shoulders of the news
anchor/
host. You see little more than a talking head.
The most famous talking head would have to be Network 23's Max Headroom, who only existed as an electronic talking head -- that is, he only had a head and a chunk of shoulders.
