actor who first started off as
musician. His best known work to date is his role as Corporal Radar O'Reilly in the
movie and television series
M*A*S*H. The characters nickname was "Radar" since he always had a keen sense of what someone was going to say next, and always announced "choppers" seconds before anyone could hear helicopters arriving with incoming wounded.
His first major role was the stage
musical Charlie Brown.
