Hypnos are recreational skates that have a frame which can be removed or reattached quickly without tools and a boot designed to be comfortable for walking. They are made by Rollerblade, and other companies make similar recreational skates. They are especially useful for skaters who need to quickly enter places where inline skating is frowned upon, for example stores and subway systems.
