A 1983 Commodore 64 game by Epyx. It features a kool little dude named Jumpman who runs and jumps and climbs around the screen defusing bombs as quickly as possible while avoiding numerous noisy badass enemies. Phew!

The all important storyline:
The enemy Alienators have infiltrated Jupiter Headquarters, sabotaging all systems and planting bombs throughout its 30 levels! Trained as the government's top secret weapon, Jupiter Jumpman is the only one able to defuse the bombs and restore communication systems. Only Jumpman has the speed, skill and 7 lives necessary to outwit the Alienators. You must be able to dodge or jump over the Alienators' bullets, always be ready to fight their evil backup forces of dragons, robots and other destroyers and constantly watch out for crumbling girders, falling objects and many other nasty surprises!

Wow! Sounds exciting!
And it is...

Jumpman is a classic sweaty boy game. Excitement looms around every corner! There are 5 game options: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Grand Loop and Randomizer, which is the super-rad. There are also 8 different speeds of gameplay. This game is the shit. I've spent hours playing Jumpman.

Jumpman has a sequel, Jumpman Junior. Check that out, too. But for now, check this Jumpman ASCII photo shoot:

Jumpman was also Mario's original name in Donkey Kong. Thank you mkb.
