Defeated the Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania V to become the Intercontinental Champion, but held a number of titles in other federations. Finishing move was the "Rude Awakening", a type of neckbreaker. Famous for his ring antics, which included telling all the men in the audience to shut up while he took his robe off to "show the ladies what a real man looks like." Kissed a female fan after each match that he won, which stirred up trouble when he attempted to kiss the wife of Jake "The Snake" Roberts.
